It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Geraldine Mounce on July 19th, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 64.

Lorraine was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba to parents Geraldine & Lawrence Grindle. She married her first husband Duncan Walker and had a daughter Sandra. She moved to Salmon Arm in 1995, met Wayne Mounce in 1998 and they married a year later.

Lorraine was a lifeguard and swimming instructor for 6 years before taking her nursing in 1986 in The Pas Manitoba. She nursed in Flin Flon, Kelowna and Salmon Arm before retiring. She also formed her own Foot Care business where she met many interesting people. She loved spending time with her husband Wayne and their beloved dog Dudley enjoyed reading, gardening, travelling, going for walks and sipping wine with family and friends.

Lorraine is predeceased by her parents Geraldine & Lawrence Grindle, her brother Kenneth Grindle and Father-in-law Douglas Mounce. She is survived by; her husband Wayne, children: Sandra Walker, Jackie (Rick) Koester, Jason (Krista) Mounce, Jordan (Adrian) Mounce, and Brent (Rosy) Mounce; 9 grandchildren: Kieran, Jillian, Ceanna & Connal; Ashton, Grayson, & Kohlton , Grady & Will and mother-in-law Colleen. Also left behind are her Sisters Maureen/Bill Forrest , Brenda McDuffee, Aunt Liz and Uncle Jim Kitch, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
