was born in the small town of Killaly, Saskatchewan, became a Registered Nurse graduating from Regina Grey Nuns Hospital. Her nursing work led her into Public Health Nursing and she spent most of her professional life serving the native population in northern Saskatchewan, NWT, Ontario and B.C. Mary loved the outdoors and the people she served. Travel was an avocation and she saw many parts of the world. Having been stricken by cancer Mary would have been pleased to see the support for a Gamma Probe.
