was a British Columbian from birth. Mrs Fuji as affectionately known to many friends, was born in Revelstoke and moved around BC. She and her husband settled in the Notch Hill area and took up berry farming. Later they moved to Salmon Arm to retire. Mrs Fuji busied herself with a lot of baby sitting and became a knitter for the Hospital Auxiliary.
