Nancy was born in Winnipeg in 1929, raised with four siblings in Calgary and graduated as a Registered Nurse, Class of 1952, St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg. Mother of five children raised in southern Manitoba where she and first husband Clifford operated a successful New Holland farm machinery dealership. Widowed in 1983, she later married second husband Richard; they retired to Vancouver Island, then Lethbridge until 2013 when they moved to the Shuswap. Nancy had a love of the outdoors commencing as a young hosteller in the Banff area; in later years, she hiked the West Coast Trail twice. She traveled to many parts of the world and enjoyed sketching and water colour painting outdoors. Music and knitting skills were always a part of her adult life. Nancy was a kind and caring lady, a loving wife, a devoted mother and a grandmother to thirteen children.
