BLACKSTOCK, Jane Oriana (nee Parsons formerly Martin)

Predeceased by her parents Noel and Elsie Parsons. Survived by her sister Dodie Clark of Calgary and sister-in-law Ann Turner and predeceased by her two brothers Howard and Jack Turner. Loving wife and ‘travel buddy’ of the late Hugh ‘Hughie’ Blackstock (2010) and predeceased by her first husband Ted Martin (2017).
Will be sadly missed by Susan (Mike), Tricia (Barry), Ed (Michelle), Charlie (Karen) and James ‘Jimmy’ (Janet). Proud grandma of Chris, Shelby, Bristol, Joel, Ryan, Olivia, Robert and John.
Jane had a great love for travel, well know as a world-traveler. Jane and Hughie travelled the world together, witnessing many different cultures, adventuring on exciting trails and hikes. Jane was also a master gardener and could be found most of her days in her meticulously maintained garden. In her later years, she spent many hours volunteering at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Auxiliary, as well as many churches in the Barrie area. She could be seen Saturdays at the Barrie Farmers Market selling her soups, baked goods and the occasional plant.
She was always willing to lend a helping hand to others and took great pride in her time volunteering.
