One of our thoughtful and generous benefactors, Bill Douhaniuk recently passed away in Saskatchewan.  It was the 1990’s when Bill moved from Saskatchewan to Salmon Arm where he farmed blackberries, raspberries, and later trees, at the foot of Fly Hills.   Bill sold his farm and continued to enjoy the Shuswap area, he was an avid reader and frequently had coffee with friends locally.   Over the years Bill has given of his time for the betterment of others, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and also a generous supporter of the Shuswap Hospital Foundation.   We are saddened to hear of his passing and we are most appreciative of the difference Bill made to our community through his generous support of the Shuswap Hospital Foundation and the other worthy causes he supported.
