Lived in Winnipeg until coming to Salmon Arm in late 2011 to live out his life with family, after he was diagnosed with a terminal illness. He considered himself so fortunate to have benefited from procedures at SLGH Imaging Department as an outpatient during his short stay in Salmon Arm.
