was a prairie boy that had a deep love for the sea. Emile who was affectionately known as “Captain” by friends and neighbours of the Gardom Lake area where he retired. He earned his title after many years at sea visiting many parts of the world. In 1986 he qualified for his pilot’s license and spent the next 23 years plying the coast and ports of BC. Emile was private man who enjoyed his friends. He was an avid cross country skier and jogger. Emile was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus.
