born in Germany emigrated to Canada in 1953. Erwin spent the next 14 years in the oil exploration industry. In 1967 he and his family moved to Salmon Arm where the were in the mobile home business eventually developing Cedar Crescent mobile home park in Canoe. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and all outdoor sports. He was very adept and there was practically nothing he could not do.
